Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches. If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be in a spot where winds drifted storm snow, below ridgelines and along gullies in the alpine. Our snowpack is shallow, and even a small slide can make for an uncomfortable ride over shallow and exposed rocks.
