Avalanche Summary

New snow and wind will increase your chances of triggering small avalanches in wind-drifted snow above treeline. The most dangerous slopes face north, northeast, and east, where southwest winds will drift snow into thicker and stiffer slabs. Look for and avoid pillowy or lens-shaped drifts on leeward slopes below ridgelines.
