Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe, and an inch or two of snow Wednesday night through Thursday won't increase the danger. You might trigger a small avalanche where you find rounded pillows of drifted snow. Look for cracking in the snow as an indication of unstable snow. Avoid drifted slopes above terrain traps where small slides could bury you more easily.
