Avalanche Summary

Warming temperatures and ample sun increase the chance of triggering wet avalanches. Travel early for better snow conditions and to stay ahead of the day's wet avalanche concerns.

Weak layers remain preserved in the snowpack on northwest, north, and northeast-facing slopes above treeline. Although increasingly unlikely to trigger, recent observations indicate humans could still impact these weak layers. Most of the larger avalanches reported recently have been on steep, open, and rocky slopes.
