Avalanche Summary

Most areas are scoured of snow or thin, so there are few areas where you can trigger a slide. If you find a supportive slab in steep terrain you have found the areas you could trigger a slide. Avoiding areas of firm snow with weaker layers beneath will reduce your hazard of triggering a slide.
