Highlights
New snow and wind have created pockets of slabs to one foot in depth on lee slopes at upper elevations. Below the new snow at mid and upper elevations DANGEROUS dense slabs up to five feet in depth lie upon weak layers of light density snow and slick sliding surfaces. These slabs continue to be triggered by skiers especially in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas.
