One to two foot deep soft slabs put in by westerly winds exist in unskied mid and upper elevation starting zones. These slabs lie upon good sliding surfaces and could be human triggered.The avalanche danger at upper and mid elevations will INCREASE during the day as heavy snow and strong winds are forecasted.
