Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations soft slabs up to one foot in depth have formed on leeward aspects. These slabs lie upon slick old snow surfaces and were easily triggered yesterday on steep wind loaded aspects. Although these slabs were shallow they were large enough in area to produce significant volumes of debris. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of slab or loose snow could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and on steep banks and road cuts.
