Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. New snow over the last three days has resulted in isolated pockets of soft slabs to 10" in depth on wind loaded slopes. These slabs lie on crusts and could be triggered today by skiers, snowboarders, or snowmobilers, particularly later in the day if significant warming occurs. Once triggered these slabs could pull out deeper layers of weak snow especially in areas of shallow snowpack.
