Highlights

At upper elevations slabs of one foot to 18 inches have been triggered in starting zones by skiers on steeper, wind loaded slopes and under cornice lines for the past few days. More HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE TODAY. Dangerous, deeper old slabs up to 3' in depth in starting zones could be triggered by humans on northerly aspects that have not seen recent avalanche activity. At the mid & lower elevations isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered by humans on steep, wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas.
