Highlights

At upper elevations pockets of slab to 18" as well as loose snow avalanches could be triggered today by backcountry users on steep, wind loaded slopes, particularly in and around cliff and rocky areas. At mid elevations, loose snow avalanches and isolated pockets of slab to a foot in depth could be triggered today. At low elevations, avalanches are unlikely as many slopes lack snow and little snow has been added. If significant warming and sun occur today, loose snow sluffing and sunballing are likely.
