Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. DANGEROUS soft slabs one to three feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects. On Thursday riders in the Greys River area triggered an avalanche which completely buried one snowmobiler and partially buried two others. A successful self rescue ensued. Similar events could be triggered today by riders or skiers. Avoid steep banks, gullies and avalanche prone terrain.
