Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW at all elevations in the early morning, will increase to MODERATE in the mid morning and will rise to CONSIDERABLE this afternoon as mountain temperatures rise to the forties. As this warming occurs, human triggered wet loose and wet slab avalanches are likely today on steep slopes on all aspects and elevations, given that they still hold snow. Cornice drops are also possible today.
