Highlights

At the higher elevations strong southwest winds have formed isolated pockets of new soft slab up to 10 inches deep on leeward aspects. These shallow surface slabs could be triggered by humans in steep, wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid and lower elevations.
