Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Southwest and northwest winds have formed surface slabs one to two feet deep in steep wind loaded starting zones. These surface slabs lie upon weak faceted snow and could be human triggered. Persistant deep weak layers present the potential for dangerous deep slabs to be triggered on steep wind loaded aspects.
