Highlights

The general avalanche hazard at all elevations is Low in the early morning, quickly increasing to Moderate by mid-morning and then to Considerable in the afternoon today. The chance of wet loose and wet slab avalanches will increase today as temperatures rise and the snow surface softens. This activity will occur on steep snow covered slopes, particularly in sunlit bowls and cirques at higher elevations.
