Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. West winds and new snow for the last three days have created DANGEROUS unstable slab avalanche conditions. New soft slabs up to three feet in depth have formed and will be easily triggered today and natural avalanche activity is expected. Once triggered these slides are likely to step down to deeper layers of faceted snow and run full track. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
