Avalanche Summary

New snowfall will not be enough to raise the avalanche danger. We will not see an increase in danger until about 6 to 8 inches accumulate with strong enough winds to drift snow and form slabs.

Until then, keep an eye out for small avalanches on shallow, steep, and shady slopes at lower elevations, and for small avalanches just below ridgeline where winds drifted a small amount of new snow into isolated deeper drifts. Neither of these avalanches is particularly dangerous, but they could catch you off guard.
