Avalanche Summary

The main concern this weekend is triggering, or being caught by, wet avalanches later in the day. Cooler overnight temperatures are in the forecast, but they are still not cold enough to solidly re-freeze the snowpack. The window for safer and more supportable snow travel continues to be early in the morning and quite short.

If you find yourself sinking into wet, mushy snow, then it's possible you could trigger a wet avalanche, and you should either move to lower-angled slopes or call it a day.
