Avalanche Summary

On many slopes, the foot of new snow fell on bare ground, but where strong winds drift the snow onto steep north or east-facing slopes, you might trigger a small slab avalanche. Watch out for small wet avalanches as the snow warms on Thursday afternoon. Small avalanches could have relatively bigger consequences since many steep slopes will end in open creeks or exposed rocks.
