Avalanche Summary

Steep slopes at higher elevations facing north to east to southeast are the most dangerous and likely places to trigger an avalanche large enough to bury you. Recent winds have drifted snow into thick slabs on top of super weak snow, which could easily fail with your added influence. Sticking to sheltered slopes at lower elevations is a good way to lessen your risk.

In addition, keep an eye on steep sunny slopes. These could become wet and unstable as they warm throughout the day.
