Avalanche Summary

You could trigger an avalanche on north through east to south-facing slopes at upper elevations. Strong winds drift new snow into a cohesive slab below on ridgelines and in open bowls. If you see smooth lens-shaped pillows of snow that crack or collapse or start to feel dense underneath you, move to wind-sheltered slopes or slopes less than about 30 degrees with no steep terrain above.
