Highlights
On northerly aspects at upper elevations pockets of surface slabs to 14 inches in depth persist in shaded areas and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. Light new snow will slough off sun crusts but should not be a hazard unless snowfall amounts or winds increase more than forecasted. In shaded areas at mid and low elevations isolated pockets of shallow slabs resting on a layer of buried surface hoar still remain.
