The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Above 9,000 feet isolated pockets of dense slab up to 18 inches deep lie upon weak, old snow surfaces. Some potential persists to trigger these slabs in steep, wind-loaded avalanche starting zones. Below 9,000 feet, the snowpack is shallow and avalanche activity is unlikely.
