The snowpack is typical of early-season conditions. Expect shallow snow cover with rocks, trees and stumps buried just beneath the surface. Avalanche danger may exist in gullies and other areas where snow has been deposited by the wind, but insufficient information prevents us from reliably rate the avalanche danger.
