Recent ridge top winds from the south reached loading values. There is sufficient storm snow available for transport. This has likely created areas of wind slab over surface hoar on northerly aspects treeline to alpine.

Likelihood: Possible

Expected Size: 1 - 3

Loose Dry

Loose snow avalanches involving last week's storm snow are possible in steep alpine and treeline terrain. Surface hoar buried in 35cm of storm snow may be easily triggered by skiers producing fast moving sluffs in steep treeline to alpine areas.
