Generelt er det stabile forhold. Nattefrost og klarvær vil gi hard og isete snøoverflate tidlig på dagen. På formiddagen vil solen mykne opp snøoverflaten og det kan gå små våte skred.

Snødekket er smelteomvandlet og de fleste steder uten betydelig lagdeling etter mildvær den siste uken. Onsdag rapporteres det tykk og hard skare i snøoverflaten over våte smelteformer på 300 moh i Hammerfest.

Kantkorn i forbindelse med skarelag er muligens intakt i høytliggende skyggesider.
