Forecast Snow Stability: New snow amounts are not expected to be significant, mainly a light dusting over the highest summits. The snowpack will continue to slowly thaw but remain generally well bonded and stable. Residual areas of wet snow instabilities may still exist on steeper North to East aspects with gully exits and steep coire rims mostly affect. Greatest snow amounts will be present on North to Easterly aspects above 850 metres. Any remaining cornices will soft and unstable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be just above the summits. After a dry night light rain is expected at most levels during the day, there is a possibility for a dusting of sleet or wet snow over the very highest summits. Winds will be moderate to fresh and generally Southerly. Observed Weather Influences: The freezing level has remained well above the highest summits through this period, overnight rain at all levels gave way to a predominately dry day, midday summit temperature was plus 2.9 degrees celsius. The winds were generally light to moderate from a South-Westerly direction.

ObservedSnowStability: The moist snowpack continues to slowly thaw but is generally well bonded. Some isolated areas of wet snow instabilities are still present, mainly on steeper North to East aspects above 900 metres these are generally avoidable. Some remaining cornices are soft and unstable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
