Forecast Snow Stability: There will be little change in the remaining snowpack. It will be stable and well bonded and the surface layers will continue to develop as harder snow-ice. Greatest accumulations will remain on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The main hazard will be the hard snow surface leading to the potential for serious runouts. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be a dry day with some clear spells and occasional sunshine. The freezing level will be at, or around 1000 metres throughout the period. Winds will be mainly Southerly and be fresh on the tops. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry day, cloudy with some occasional brightness. The freezing level was around 1000 metres. There was a fresh South-Westerly wind.

ObservedSnowStability: Overnight in the cooler, drier conditions, the wet snowpack has consolidated and firmed up. It is stable and well bonded, with a firm icy surface at higher elevations. The largest snow accumulations remain on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
