Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will remaining frozen overnight at higher altitudes and be well consolidated and stable. The snowpack will slowly soften in the wetter and milder conditions. No new snow expected, the largest accumulations remain on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight the freezing level will be around 1000 metres rising above the summits from dawn. It will be mainly dry and cloudy with a period of rain during the morning. Southerly winds throughout, increase fresh to strong during the day. Observed Weather Influences: A dry and bright day, remaining cloudy around the highest summits. The freezing level was around 1000 metres with fresh South Westerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snowpack is well consolidated and stable. Above 850 metres the surface was frozen with a hard and icy crust. Sheltered areas exposed to the sun were softening. The largest snow accumulations remain on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
