Forecast Snow Stability: The old snowpack will remain generally stable on all aspects and at all levels. Its surface will be hard after an overnight refreeze, softening during the day where exposed to direct sunshine. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight, moderate North-Westerly winds will ease and veer to very light Easterly, and then during the day increase again and veer South-South-Easterly. It is expected to be dry throughout the period. The freezing level will be 800 metres overnight, rising during the day to around 1200 metres. Observed Weather Influences: Overnight the freezing level dropped from above all summits to 1000 metres before rising to around 1100 metres during the day. Winds were light to moderate South-Westerly veering Westerly. Mainly light showers fell as snow above around 1000 metres. ObservedSnowStability: There is a dusting of new snow above 1000 metres. The limited accumulations on wind sheltered East and South-East aspects are not significant. The old snowpack is generally stable on all aspects and at all levels. Above around 1100 metres its surface has re-frozen. The avalanche hazard is Low.
