Wednesday is expected to bring light flurries with temperatures steadily dropping to -7c throughout the day. The strong SW winds will continue for the day and easing by evening. Light snow is expected for Thursday.

No new avalanches were observed today.

Snowpack Summary

Lower elevation skiing is hazardous. The November 5 crust is carrying the weight of skiers in most areas. The strong SW winds from Wednesday will continue into Thursday afternoon, only to add to the wind slab problem. Lee features will be an area of conern.
