A breakable temperature crust from the weekend warm-up is found below 1800m meters. Stability test results on Tuesday indicate a strong snowpack but forecast winds will build slabs on the lee aspects. Best traveling in higher treed glades.

West winds are forecast to blow strong from the southwest beginning Tuesday night. These winds have some snow available for transport and slabs in alpine lee areas are possible. Even a small avalanche will run fast and far on near surface crusts.
