Avalanche Activity

The conditions are spring-like.

The early morning will see favourable conditions. On very steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes mostly small moist loose snow avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation. This applies on very steep slopes below approximately 2000 m. Most and wet avalanches can in some places be released by people.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be generally stable. On sunny slopes no snow is lying. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to increasing moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2000 m.
