Observed Weather Influences: Strong South South West later Westerly winds. Frequent occasionally heavy showers of snow, with sleet or rain for a time at lower altitudes. Cold overnight but with a brief warming period late morning, colder thereafter. ObservedSnowStability: A brief warming event during the morning induced poor stability with several avalanches on steep North to East aspects in Coire Ardair. Cooler temperatures brought some initial consolidation to all snow but further snowfall induced new drifting at the time of reporting.
