Highlights

Slabs up to 2' in depth could be triggered and have the potential to step down to old snow surfaces or the ground. Recently these slabs have been released in the Mesquito Creek drainage by snow-machiners and in the Mail Cabin Creek drainage by skiers on east facing slopes. Wet slides are possible today on steep banks, road cuts, and in sunlit cirques and basins.
