Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations pockets of soft slab up to 18 inches in depth exist in cliff areas and steep wind loaded starting zones. These slabs lie upon excellent sliding surfaces and could be human triggered. Deep slab instabilities also persist. If triggered these slabs could pull out deeper snow layers all the way to the ground. These events could be initiated today especially with larger triggers such as snowmobiles or groups.
