Highlights

Southwest winds have formed new slabs up to 30 inches in depth on wind loaded aspects at the mid and upper elevations. These slabs could release naturally or be easily triggered today. More snow and strong winds will increase the hazard. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended at the mid and upper elevations. At the lower elevations pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth have formed in steep wind loaded starting zones and could be human triggered. .
