Highlights

Pockets of surface slab up to 18 inches in depth and deep slab instabilities persist at the mid and upper elevations. On Monday a five foot deep slab was skier triggered on a north northwest aspect at an elevation of 8,830 feet in the South Fork of the Game Creek drainage on the west side of the Teton Range. On Tuesday a three foot deep slab was skier triggered on a northwest aspect at an elevation of 9,400 feet at an undisclosed location. Loose snow sluffs were also observed yesterday on steep sunlit aspects. Similar shallow slab, deep slab and loose snow events could be human triggered today.
