Highlights

At mid and upper elevations where freezing did occur, the general avalanche hazard is LOW in the early morning and will rise to CONSIDERABLE today as mountain temperatures rise to the forties. At low elevations, where freezing did not occur the general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE throughout the day. Human triggered wet loose and wet slab avalanches are likely today on steep slopes on all aspects and elevations, given that they still hold snow. Cornice drops are also possible today.
