Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard remains MODERATE. Surface slabs to 18 " in depth could be triggered this morning by backcountry riders and skiers in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain. These slabs will increase in size and sensitivity today as new snow and wind continue. The potential also continues for full depth avalanches to occur on a very weak, persistent layer of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack.
