Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe on Monday. In extreme terrain, use caution around snow that feels moist and is forming rollerballs, as well as any newly drifted snow. Although any resulting avalanche will likely be small, even a small amount of moving snow can knock you off your feet and carry you into hazardous terrain.

Avalanche danger will rise on Tuesday as winds drift new snow into slabs above treeline.

Researchers Ian McCammon and Sara Boilen are developing new tools for managing human factors for backcountry skiers and boarders. This survey asks about personal experiences with human factors and will take 7 - 8 minutes to fill out. Link is HERE. Thank you for your help!
