Highlights
The snowpack remains UNSTABLE and DANGEROUS. Surface slabs up to three feet in depth could be triggered or release naturally on steep slopes on a variety of aspects. These slabs have the potential to step down to weak buried layers of faceted snow or the ground. The instability extends from the upper elevations into the upper portion of the lower elevations. Warm temperatures today will enhance the instability and present the potential for wet slides.
