Highlights

Yesterday a skier triggered a 20 inch deep slab on a steep northeast wind loaded aspect in Unskiabowl and two 30 inch deep hard slabs were explosively triggered on south-southeast aspects above the Cirque at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Similar events could be skier triggered today in steep wind loaded mid and upper elevation avalanche starting zones especially as temperatures rise. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible today on steep snow covered slopes at all elevations as temperatures rise.
