Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You might trigger a small slide in drifted snow at upper elevations. Take care where you find drifts below ridgelines and in gullies on steep northerly or easterly-facing slopes. Avoid steeper terrain if you find dense, hollow-sounding drifts or notice cracking in drifted snow. Look for safer travel in areas sheltered by wind or on low-angle slopes.
