There is still a minor chance that a person could trigger an avalanche that breaks into weak faceted snow that formed in January. The continued warm weather is helping stabilize the snowpack, but if you dig down into the snowpack, you'll still find a layer of dry facets on high-elevation northerly-facing slopes. The hand hardness of the weak layer is increasing, suggesting more stable conditions. At this point, it seems pretty unlikely that a person will trigger an avalanche, but............
