There is lots of wind affected snow in the West South zone. Even though wind slabs are becoming harder to trigger, you may still cause an avalanche, especially near convex rollovers, on unsupported slopes, or in confining terrain features. Before you travel in large complex avalanche terrain, stop and consider the consequences of triggering a deep persistent slab.
