Currently there are favourable conditions generally. Little snow will fall in some localities. The avalanche danger will persist. Faceted weak layers exist deep in the snowpack. In very isolated cases the avalanches can be triggered in the old snow and reach medium size in isolated cases. This applies especially on very steep north and east facing slopes in particular between approximately 2400 and 2700 m in little used terrain. The avalanche prone locations are very rare barely recognisable, even to the trained eye. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

Less snow than usual is lying. Below approximately 2100 m hardly any snow is lying. The old snowpack will be well bonded on steep sunny slopes. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. Hardly any more avalanches were reported.

The avalanche danger will persist.
