In particular steep sunny slopes and base of rock walls: As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation moist and wet avalanches are possible from the late morning, even large ones in isolated cases. In particular on steep grassy slopes gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. Early morning: There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Backcountry tours should be started very early and concluded timely.

In particular in the vicinity of peaks snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise in the late morning to rapid moistening of the snowpack in particular on sunny slopes.
