Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: Some very light precipitation through the day will fall as snow above around 1000 metres. Moderate South-Easterly winds. Observed Weather Influences: Light rain at most elevations with wet snow above around 1150m. The freezing levels was around 1200 metres with fresh mainly Southerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is gradually thawing and consolidating at most elevations. Some new wet snow deposits are present above around 1150 metres. Snowpack stability is good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
